Well, since I've never built a home before, I am realizing there are things I don't know about and wouldn't even think of!
During our pre-construction meeting earlier this week, our sales person mentioned that some people do rituals or blessings on the home during the ground breaking.
She said that another dig is scheduled right near our lot on Aug. 10 and that the owners are doing some ritual where they crack a coconut on the shovel or something like that. I asked if they could just throw some blessings our way but now that I think about it, I feel like we should do something, too!
