Sunday Social

Sunday Social

What is your dream job? I would have to say something that encompasses shopping, eating and celebrity gossip! Haha! I always thought being an E! News reporter would be so much fun or writing for Us Weekly. (Yes, I am keeping it classy and very sophisticated).

If you had just won the lottery and didn't need to work for money, what would you do with your time? Oh a girl can dream! I would travel a lot and spend time giving back to others. I can think of a ton of charities that I would donate to or start my own. And go to a lot of football games!

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? A marine biologist! I LOVED the movie Free Willy.

What piece of career advice would you give to someone just starting out in your field? Do a good job of listening -- instead of always thinking of what you're going to say -- and be the person who does what they say they are going to do. It will set you apart from the rest. Find a mentor who will help you along, too.

What are your biggest pet peeves in life, blogging or at work? In life? Probably people who expect everything to be handed to them and they don't have to work for it. So, entitlement I guess. Blogging? People who post controversial or vague things as bait for more clicks to their blog. At work? Uhh... lots of things but probably people who don't follow through on their responsibilities.

What are your biggest fears? Death! Something happening to someone I love. Spiders... And prohibition.

Social Sunday

Sunday Social

Well, I am badly in need of a tropical vacation so I love this week's Social Sunday questions!

Best trip you've ever been on? I don't know how I choose just ONE but I guess I would have to say when we went to Acapulco for about 10 days 2 months before our wedding. I would say it was our pre-honeymoon but we were there with the in-laws so I don't think that qualifies!

We spent the first few days at a hotel right on the ocean. I LOVED falling asleep to the sound of the crashing waves! Then we spent a week at the timeshare report that my in-laws own timeshare in. The resorts are absolutely beautiful! Here was the view from our room:
On one of the first days there we met a family from New York and became fast friends with them! We played beer bong in their room every night. No idea how we weren't kicked out for being so loud. And who plays beer pong in an immaculate living room with marble floors, etc.
We had an amazing lobster dinner and even went out to a club for "ladies night" (every night is ladies night). It was a great way to de-stress BEFORE the wedding!

Oh and yes, every night I make us take pictures on the patio! I do this on ALL vacations. Mostly for me to remember my outfit! :)

Best idea for a girls weekend trip? I would probably vote for somewhere in wine country or a relaxing spa resort in CA! I would say Vegas but the smell of smoke gives me the worst headache ever so I will probably NEVER go to Vegas!

Best idea for a couples trip? Well, anywhere tropical fits the bill for me! We had so much fun going to an all-inclusive in Cabo with 2 other couples.

Best vacation on the cheap? We are spoiled with the fact that my in-law have timeshare just about everywhere! If we go on our own vacation, I love being able to find a deal on Groupon or other discount websites... For our trip to Cabo, we stayed at a place that was just opening after a huge renovation so it was really cheap!

Place you most want to visit: I want to go to Bora Bora after seeing it on RHOC! Hahaha! But then I looked it up and the flight was SO long. So, I will say Hawaii or the Virgin Islands! Yes please!

Vacation necessities: I'm not the person to ask about this! I bring anything and everything on vacation. We ALWAYS have to move stuff out of my bag to make the 50 pound limit. Haha! And if I am lucky, I get extra room in Brad's suitcase and if his family is with us, I take up about half of his little brother's bag, too. I just can't help it...

Social Sunday

Sunday Social

I find it funny that my latest post was all about reality TV! So, I am linking up for this week's Social Sunday.

Favorite TV show of the past
I have to go with Sex and the City. Although I don't really like watching it on TV because they cut out a lot of funny parts but I still can't help myself most of the time! I NEVER get sick of it. Friends is definitely a way close second, too! And old episodes of 90210 when they are in high school. I can't stand when they are in "college" and Donna has red hair, etc. I just hate those episodes. Oh and Saved by the Bell is up there on my list, too!!! What a great show!

Favorite TV show currently
I LOVE the Real Housewives of OC and also Beverly Hills (I give OC the slight edge right now). I also love Bethenny Ever After and Giuliana and Bill. Other than that, I tivo some other stuff like Tia & Tamera and Sister Wives but I don't go crazy trying to stay caught up.

Which reality show would you never do?
Hmmm... the smaller list might be a reality show that I would do! I definitely would NOT do anything like Survivor or anything that entails eating bugs, etc.! NO thanks!

Which reality show would you love to do?
Well, I think I would love to be a Beverly Hills housewife! So, I guess if being on the show would be a part of the deal, then sign me up!

TV personality/character that you feel is most like you? I would say I'm a little like Tamra from RHOC because I am very sarcastic and really don't care what people think of me.

TV character you'd want to date? Well, he's not really a "character" but I do love Bill Rancic! I also like Dr. Robert Leeds aka Blair Underwood on SATC!
