How much do we regret not purchasing a landscaping package with our house? Oh yeah, these geniuses decided they could save a bunch of pesos and do it themselves! And lose their marbles in the process...
Okay, it hasn't been that bad. But the sod cutter broke after 40 minutes of using it. And the rental place was closed until the next day. The dirt underneath was TERRIBLE, full of rocks, concrete and just about anything else you can imagine. I think my husband thought we had nice black dirt under there. Not so much. We still have a lot to do but here are a few pictures of the progress. Next up? Building our deck! Cue the margaritas...

it looks great! It's SO worth it in the end, I promise. Josh and I (well, Josh) does everything himself. He's too stinkin cheap to pay people. My favorite thing is to watch him admire his work when he's finished. And, our yard/house looks great!
Thanks, Julie! We're too cheap also! I know it will be worth it but it is hard to feel like we're wasting weekends doing this junk!
